This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have. Information you give us
We collect information through quote requests, general enquiries, professional referrals and requests for our Renovation Planning Guide. Depending on the form you use, this includes:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- The project address and type of work you are enquiring about
- Photos, videos or PDF files you choose to upload, which are optional
- Your professional contact details and the limited client information you provide when making an authorized referral
- The project details you choose to write in the message field
Required fields are marked on each form. We use the information to respond, assess the project and arrange next steps, or email a guide you request. Please do not submit full medical records or unnecessary sensitive information. If you refer someone, obtain their permission to share their details and have us contact them. We will discuss any further documents needed after initial contact.
Submissions are stored in this website’s database on our hosting account and are also sent to us by email so that we can respond. Email delivery logs may be retained for up to 90 days to troubleshoot delivery and maintain reliable communications, then automatically deleted.
Information collected automatically
When you visit this website, some information is collected automatically:
- Analytics and campaign measurement. We use Google Analytics 4 and Google tag services to understand how people find and use this website and, when applicable, to measure campaign results. Optional analytics cookie storage is denied by default for visitors worldwide. If you allow Analytics, Google Analytics may use first-party cookies to measure visits, traffic sources, page views, device or browser information, and interactions such as quote requests, guide requests, phone or email clicks, and form errors. We use Google’s advanced consent mode: before you choose, or if you reject Analytics, Google tags may still send limited measurements without analytics cookies to communicate consent and support basic measurement and modelling. These cookieless requests can include technical information such as the page visited, time, browser information and referrer; they do not mean that no information is sent to Google. We do not intentionally send your name, email address, phone number, project address, message, uploaded files or other form-field contents to Google Analytics.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical information such as your IP address, the time of your request, and the pages served. This is used for security, diagnostics, and to keep the site running.
- Caching and performance. We use caching software to make pages load faster. It does not collect personal information about you.
We may advertise Everden through services such as Google Ads. Our current cookie preferences offer an Analytics choice. Accepting Analytics does not grant consent for advertising storage, advertising user data or advertising personalization; those Google consent settings remain denied in the current website configuration.
How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We will not add you to a marketing list or send you promotional email simply because you requested a quote or guide, sent a message, or made a referral. Sending project photos for an enquiry does not give us permission to publish them; we request separate permission for marketing use.
Who we share information with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run this website and our business, and only to the extent they need it:
- Hostinger — website hosting and email infrastructure.
- Google — Google Analytics, Google tag services and, when used, Google Ads campaign measurement. Analytics cookie storage follows your Analytics preference worldwide. Limited cookieless measurement requests may still be sent when Analytics is denied, as explained above. Advertising consent settings remain denied in the current website configuration. We do not intentionally send your quote or contact form field contents to Google Analytics. See the Google Privacy Policy.
- Trustindex — embedded displays of public Google reviews. Loading these displays may share technical information, such as your IP address and browser information, with the provider.
- Trades, suppliers, or subcontractors — only where necessary to quote or carry out work you have asked us to do, and only the details needed for that purpose.
Some of these providers may process or store information outside Canada. Where that happens, your information may be subject to the laws of that country.
This site also displays reviews sourced from our Google Business Profile. Those reviews are written by their authors and are already publicly available on Google; we do not collect them from you through this site.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Optional analytics cookie storage is off by default worldwide and is enabled only if you allow Analytics. Essential cookies may be used to operate the website, support security and forms, and remember your cookie choices.
- Google measurement. If you allow Analytics, Google Analytics can use first-party cookies to distinguish visits and sessions. Before a choice or when Analytics is rejected, Google’s advanced consent mode does not read or write analytics cookies, but may send the limited cookieless measurements described above.
- Functional and security cookies. WordPress, hosting/security tools, or third-party website components may use cookies where technically necessary. WordPress administrator cookies generally apply only to logged-in administrators.
You can accept or reject optional Analytics in the cookie banner. To change or withdraw your choice later, select Cookie preferences in the website footer, adjust Analytics, and select Save and Close. Rejecting Analytics does not prevent you from browsing the website or requesting a quote. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings; deleting the saved consent cookie may cause the banner to appear again. How long we keep your information
We retain enquiries, referrals and optional uploads only as long as needed to respond, plan or carry out the requested work, and meet applicable business, tax, legal and warranty requirements. Guide requests are used to deliver the guide and maintain necessary delivery records. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or render it anonymous.
You can ask us to delete your enquiry, referral, guide request or optional uploads at any time, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it — for example for tax or warranty records relating to work we have carried out.
Your rights
Under PIPEDA you have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy of it
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- Withdraw your consent to our use of your information, subject to legal or contractual limits
- Ask us to delete information we no longer need
- Make a complaint about how we have handled your information
To exercise any of these rights, email info@everden.ca. We will respond within the timeframes required by law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Security
This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold. However, no method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website is intended for adult homeowners and property owners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

This website may link to other websites that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
